AI Output Disclaimer
Important boundaries for using PPS with third-party AI systems and their outputs.
Plain English Summary
- PPS teaches workflows for third-party AI tools, but it does not control those tools.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, or inappropriate.
- Food descriptions, labels, portion sizes, goals, and health context can be misunderstood by AI systems.
- Calorie, macro, portion, restaurant, and behavioral suggestions are approximate only.
- You are responsible for what you input into third-party AI tools and how you use the outputs.
AI Disclaimer
1. PPS does not control third-party AI systems
PPS is designed to be used with third-party AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and similar systems. PPS does not own, operate, control, monitor, or guarantee those tools or their outputs.
Those providers set their own model behavior, safety systems, product features, availability, privacy settings, and terms of use. PPS cannot control how a third-party AI system responds to a prompt, what sources it relies on, whether it is available, or how it may change over time.

2. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, internally inconsistent, overconfident, or inappropriate for your situation. Different models may produce different answers from the same prompt, and the same model may produce different answers at different times.
An AI response may sound polished and confident while still being wrong. It may also omit important context, oversimplify a complex issue, or generate content that looks precise even when the underlying estimate is weak.

3. AI systems can misunderstand prompts and context
AI systems can misunderstand your prompts, food descriptions, labels, portion sizes, restaurant menu items, recipe ingredients, serving counts, health context, restrictions, and goals. They can also make unsupported assumptions when details are missing or ambiguous.
That means an apparently simple prompt like a meal log, restaurant order, or behavior check-in can still produce distorted output if the AI guesses incorrectly about the food, the portion, the preparation method, the target, or the user's circumstances.

4. Estimates and suggestions are approximate only
AI-estimated calories, macros, portions, meal suggestions, restaurant recommendations, substitutions, shopping lists, and behavioral suggestions are approximate only. They should not be treated as precise measurements, guarantees, or individualized professional advice.
This is especially important for restaurant food, mixed dishes, takeout, unlabeled foods, homemade meals, and any situation where the AI has incomplete information. Small input errors can materially change the estimate or recommendation.

5. Use judgment and verify important information
You are responsible for reviewing, questioning, and deciding whether any AI-generated output should be used at all. When accuracy matters, you should verify important information using reliable sources, product labels, menus, qualified professionals, or your own informed judgment.
Do not rely on AI output alone for high-stakes decisions, including health, nutrition, medication, allergy, mental-health, emergency, or other safety-sensitive decisions.

6. PPS is not responsible for third-party AI changes or failures
PPS is not responsible for third-party AI outages, downtime, degraded performance, hallucinations, content restrictions, feature removals, provider policy changes, account limitations, prompt-length limits, moderation behavior, or pricing changes.
If a third-party AI system changes how it responds, becomes unavailable, restricts a feature, or produces degraded output, that does not mean PPS has failed to provide medical, technical, or professional oversight. It means you are using an external system that PPS does not control.

7. You are responsible for your inputs and actions
You are solely responsible for what you choose to type, paste, upload, or share with a third-party AI tool. That includes meal information, behavior notes, personal context, health-related information, documents, screenshots, and prompts.
You are also solely responsible for how you interpret and act on AI-generated output. PPS does not make decisions for you, submit prompts on your behalf, or assume responsibility for the consequences of your use of third-party AI tools.
